SDC is currently interviewing degreed engineers with three levels of experience to add to the staff:
•	10 to 20 years of experience with strong technical capabilities as well as the ability to manage projects.  The candidate should have extensive aerospace experience in composite materials.  A Master's Degree is preferred.  In addition to performing design and or analytical evaluations, the candidate should also be familiar with management tools such as MS Project.
•	5-10 years of experience with a Masters Degree in aerospace, mechanical, and or structural engineering a plus. In addition, experience in composites or a background in materials and processes is a strong plus. Specifically, the candidate should have experience in composites design/manufacturing producibility enhanced by a high level of proficiency in solid modeling, or an analytical engineer with strong proficiencies in micro-mechanics and finite element analysis.
•	Technician with 5 to 10 years of experience in composites and or hybrid metal and composites fabrication. Familiar with all steps in the manufacturing of aerospace type components including tooling design, precursor preparation, lay-up and cure, and post machining. Familiarity with all types of manufacturing approaches is important including prepreg and resin infusion approaches, one and two-sided tooling, hand lay-up and automated fiber placement techniques. Must be familiar with joining of metals and composites. Coming from an ISO environment is given a high priority.

SDC uses I-DEAS for solid modeling and analysis, so experience with this software is a plus.  Experience in Pro-E, ANSYS, and NASTRAN will also be considered. U.S. citizenship is required.
