SDC is committed to supporting our customers in a variety of ways. Consistent with our independent approach to materials and processes selection, SDC is adding a wide range of composite materials fabrications capabilities. An 800 0F heated platen press allows us to cure a wide range of composite materials up to polyimides. We have added a large oven that is used for warm debulk and to cure non-autoclave composites. SDC will have an autoclave in 2008 as well as a filament winder that will support specific research and development activities. The ultimate goal is to have in-house all of the major fabrication approaches necessary to support prototyping and R&D for all of SDC's business areas, with SDC expanding those specific capabilities as required to support production programs.
